UC produces three topnotchers for Customs Broker Exams


Three University of Cebu students made it to the top ten of the October 2012 Customs Broker Licensure Examination! Evez Dexter Aranzado Carcedo, Harly Kenn Oyao Villasor, and Jonel Mascariola Pilota ranked Fifth, Seventh and Ninth respectively.UC is the only Cebu school who produced topnotchers, with the rest of the seven top ten slots covered by universities in Luzon.
Lyceum of the Philippines University-Manila and Batangas State University both produced the firsts in rank while Philippine Marine School-Las Piñas produced the second. Other schools who produced the top placers were Emilio Aguinaldo College-Manila, Adamson University, Philippine Maritime Institute-Manila and Westmead International School.
The Customs Broker Licensure Examination was held on October 24 and 25, 2012 with results released on October 30. National passing rate was 40.75% with UC’s passing rate for First Timers at 40.63%; Repeaters at 32.08%; and an Overall rate of 36.75%. UC had 117 takers with 43 passers.
